Alison Mason, Walky Talky Director & Physiotherapist

Alison has been a physiotherapist for babies and children since 2007. She loves supporting early motor development through gross motor play. She has worked in Perth for Perth Children's Hospital, Child Development Service, Ability Centre and Curtin University as well as in London at 2 Child Development Centres. She has a graduate diploma in Paediatric Neurological Rehabilitation from UWA and is currently completing training in Neuroprotective Developmental Care (Possums).

  • positioning young infants to support development
  • typical development in the first 12 months
  • the role of physiotherapy in the first 2 years, when to refer 
  • plagiocephaly and torticollis prevention and parent education
